Apologies if this isn't quite the right place to post but seemed like the best fit.

I am having a sports exhaust fitted to my sprint in the next few weeks as such I'll have a spare stainless standard exhaust.

I will sell the original system any ideas on the sort of price I should ask? It's a Rimmer system and has been on the car for 25+ years. I'll try and dig out the original invoice. From what I can see it's in decent condition

If the stock system has been on for 25 years, i'd wait to make sure your fitter is able to get it off intact! I was completely unable to get a sports rear box to part from the cross axle pipe on the Carledo and that'd only been there 9 years. Only the fact that i'd already removed the rear axle let me remove it as an assembly and transfer it to another car!

But if it DOES come apart sufficiently to remove it from the car, i'd recommend putting it in the "parts for sale" section of this forum. Probably worth about £100.

You were spot on with your predicted Steve, original exhaust would not come apart for love nor money.

It's now languishing in a scrap bin having been cut to remove it.
