South East gearbox services?

#1 Post by whydidistartthis »

Is there anywhere in the southeast that can be recommended to recondition a Sprint overdrive gearbox, and rear axle?

If there is no where local, any recommendation's ?

Have had 1 quote so far £2500 to do both, and its not local.

Thanks.

Martin.

Hi Martin.

I haven't personally used this company, but a friend and fellow Triumph owner has always had a very positive experience with this company in Leatherhead: https://www.hardyengineering.co.uk/

Kind Regards

If you don't mind travelling to Somerset, our own Mad Mart does a good job on gearboxes

Try Rob at Sprintspeed or Paul at 2Spec Transmissions.

Yes, I can definitely recommend Rob at Sprintspeed. He's not far from Petersfield, Hampshire.

He rebuilt my axle and fitted an LSD, and he does gearboxes too. He is also totally honest and really cares about his work.
