about this one?
Like why it's in a scrap yard? What it's condition underneath is? It's been hosed down on a dry day to look shiny which triggers alarm bells. Lots of rust patches visible in the photos of which there are few.

I think you can only get Radio 4 on it these days!
I'd guess it was an old boy's pride and joy quickly dismissed by the family the easiest way after he passed on. Credit to the scrappy not just cubing it straight away.

Looking at the MoT History it certainly looks as though it had been well looked after in the past.
