Can anyone help again please?
While I was replacing the water pump on my Sprint and the manifold was off, decided on few other jobs while there is more easy access.
A friend of mine (retired mechanic), who's been helping me, took away the inlet manifold to remove a broken thermostat housing pin and clean it up.

I have no idea why, after I categorically told him not touch it, he decided to remove the heater hose 'H' bar plumbing and scrap it!
(On the basis the very ends - which are inside the hoses and help retain them were a little perforated - or as he put it 'no good' and he sawed them off!).
'You'll have to get a new one of them now'........
He did paint it nicely black in the process though: roll:

I expect getting a replacement is next to impossible. I know the older cars had a hose arrangement that just used a 'H' joining piece.
Can I use this arrangement on my later car and adapt it? Does anyone know there someone can repair/weld the one I have?

Thanks, guys, all sorted and ordered (inc. olive and a nut).

Never thought of checking Chris Wittor, page now in favourites.

Hopefully we'll be back on the road soon.
