Hi,

Does anyone know what the length of the push rod should be in the Sprint master cylinder?

I have seen the slave cylinder one should be around 90mm.

Thanks,

Aye….

Sorry I don’t know the dimension
but what I can say it is easy to know if it is right because
it will line up with the hole in the clutch pedal easily.

Are you having clutch clearance problems James?

Thanks
Ian

I don't have the correct pliers to hand to disassemble one to measure, but fully extended out from the outermost face of the cylinder casting to centre line of clevis pin hole measures 5.75 cm

Hi Both,

My slave cylinder has gone and could no longer change gear while the engine was on.

The clutch pedal did sit quite high up so was just checking what the normal should be. As i have taken it all apart thought now is the time to see if the push rod is the correct length.

I have attached a picture of my current one

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Thank you. I will try and reassemble and see what the length it comes to

Just got MSO out of storage, clutch pedal went straight to the floor, master cylinder seals gone, so just replacing it.
Push rod is 3" long.
