All
I am running twin 40 DCOE Webers on my Sprint.
The car has a 123 Dizzy and an upgraded camshaft.
The car however does run very rich.
Does anyone have a similar set up and if so what jets are you using in the Webers.
It ticks over at about 900rpm and has great power. The plugs however do need pulling every four weeks in the summer for a clean up.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hello Richard
Sounds like a lovely set up you have there. Apologies if I’m stating the obvious. Have you had the car rolling road tuned?
I see your in Kent, so if not….. BD engineering would be able to set you up properly and dial in the right jets etc.

I haven’t used them in a while but they’ve worked their magic for me on cars with SUs and Webers in the past.
All the best, Bish.

I'll echo what Bish has said above; a rolling road and an operator who knows their way around Webers (along with a ready selection of components to hand) is the only really accurate way to get them correct.

Cheers Bish and Alun for the replies.
I had it on a rolling road a few years ago and it knocked out very decent BHP readings. Since then it probably does need retuning.
I have had another member kindly send me a link detailing the correct jets etc for the carbs. Once Spring arrives I will begin to have a look. The car presently runs very well but just is running rich which means I need to keep pulling the plugs for a clean up.
I will be back in the Spring with an update.
Thanks
Richard.
