Hi Paul, I have one of these as used on an early 1850.
It is marked " TR1 07 MG " .
It has 10 splines dia 22mm
then 17 mm dia x 12mm long
and then 12mm dia x 33mm long.
Any use ?
Cheers for now,
Tony.

You should be able to buy a universal alignment tool with different diameter attachments to suit all clutch plates and covers from a decent auto spares shop or maybe Halfords.

Hi Paul, The one I have that fits my 1850 is an aftermarket one; like these ...

There are many of them and at £7 you can't go far wrong. It's not a Churchill tool and you don't really need one for this application. If you are in Berkshire we could meet up for a quick swap but I would need the tool back as I know it fits my car.

HTH,
Tony.

I have such a universal tool and have used it successfully on a variety of classic and modern cars alike.
