RGK197P White Sprint

Hi all, only recently rejoined the club as a member following the acquisition of my sprint 6 months or so ago from Mark McLean in Coventry.
She wasn't a bad looking motor when bought but having been garaged the last 12 years, soon as it's been out in the weather the aging paint job and filler started to fall apart
Bootlid and bonnet have both been replaced with a new NS front door in the works, she's had a rear end bump in the past which I think maybe wrote it off as it done the quarter, rear OS door, arch and where the hinges for the door mount on.
Alas, I've cut the damage out and welded in a piece of repair skin as well as pulling the quarter and valance out which was over a cm short in places.
Vinyl roof and pillars have come off allowing me to address rust creeping underneath both. Few pinholes I filled with some JB weld as to prevent the need to pull headlining for welding. Currently coated with em121 rust buster as a future rust preventative.
Looks an absolute eye sore but only temporary till I can get a vinyl roof on it again. This is complicated further by the worn out britax and that my screen frame is going to need welding when the screen comes out. If anyone localish to Shropshire with vinyl roof fitting experience fancies offering a hand there will definitely be some drinks available
After weighing up painting the car with a gun for which I have neither the finances to pay someone else to do it, nor the proper facilities or experience to make a good job of it, I decided to try coach painting the car.
So far done the bonnet, boot and upper front valance which I also replaced with a steel replacement (that doesn't fit too well
)
Some brush makes and imperfections but plan is for 3 top coats so I can flat it back and brush some deep varnish over the top.
Car is due to be at the NEC next week on the Club Triumph stand so I'm sure I'll see some people there
I should add, my sprint is my only car so gets driven routinely regardless of weather. It is this use which has seen the car deteriorate so rapidly
