1975 1500TC – Check your hoses!

Hi all,
Just a quick reminder to check your fuel hoses. Mine is starting to look a bit worse for wear after about two years of use. No leaks yet, and the internals still seem fine, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
I bought this hose from a reputable supplier (Pirtek), and it's marked with the BSAU108 specification. Even quality hoses can degrade over time.
BSAU108 Fuel Hose Specification:
Material: Black, smooth CR/NBR (Neoprene/Nitrile) compound — resistant to weather, oil, and abrasion.
Reinforcement: High tensile synthetic textile plies for added strength.
Inner Lining: Smooth NBR, compatible with unleaded/leaded petrol, diesel, and oils with up to 5% oxygenates or MTBE.
Temperature Range: -40°C to +100°C.
Working Pressure: 14 bar, with a 4:1 safety factor.
Use Case: Suitable for petroleum products with up to 50% aromatic content.
Stay safe and check those hoses!
Regards
Barry
