Well they say Brown is the new Black!

I'm growing rather fond of my Brown Beastie. Just needs an MOT now, I've fitted a new front badge since this pic was taken and am currently painting the wheels, 3 down 2 to go!

Same here ZT, I wasn't so keen on the Brown to start with especially as it was so filthy but much elbow grease, t-cut, blood, sweat and tears it looks quite acceptable now, very much a colour of the period. Wouldn't have been my first choice of colour but hey I can't be too choosy when someone offers me a car. I waasn't very keen on the matching interior either but again I quite like it now, it's certainly very clean and original.

You have a nice car there with some nice side stripes and the all important o/d missing from mine. Nice condition interior, what kind mileage has the car done?

My 1850 auto is sienna brown,I sort of liked the colour but it did not quite hit the spot so I bought a shinny 26000 mile flamenco 1850 and love the car,but the strange thing is that if I had choose to keep one or the other the brown one would stay.
Why ?

Yep, I wanted a white one originally, but this one came up in 1985, so I got it, and still have!

Maybe we should set up a sub branch of the TDC specifically for Brown Cars? I never realised they had such a following.

From memory NGE 6V was a brown debumpered sprint that oxdonian sold a few years ago, it was subsequently reported stolen...
