i used to put redex lead replacement in to my 1500tc just in case,

LRP's garbage anyway, avoid it.
I always try to use higher quality fuels like Optimax, I do possibly notice a difference from them especially in poor conditions. Seen some good figures from rolling roads as well reflecting the difference in power and flexibility.
Just drop a bottle of Millers VSP in there now and then, it's fantastic stuff and IHMO the only one worth using

Try it and see if your car likes it. Blue has never run better than when I used to put Tesco LRP in. It hates optimax, BP ultimate and Tesco 99 don't float it's boat either. Now I just use tesco 95 which gives the best result. Other cars give utterly different results, only your car knows what it likes best.
LRP is a cocktail of chemical crap as lewis says but some cars like it.

I run my car on 15% Nitromethane, not the effect I was hoping for

my local garage still has leaded. My last sprint ran pretty well on that
