id like to join 'the swarm', id take a hammering in the tolo, no doubt about that, but fun fun fun!

if i could be certain the tolo would be ready id sign up, but i cant, so i wont.

what sort of swarming insect could i be? locust, although thats more like a plague really...

Well it is the start of the new season! Haven't been round a track since CC in September. getting withdraw symptoms.

I think it is silly putting a Dolomite on a race track Top gear showed us just how slow they are and really no point
But then I remembered watching Top Gear at Castle Combe with some seventies supercars and noted that the swarm would have passed them all Especially that Jeremy made me laugh when he tugged at the wheel on the chicane causing the tyre to smoke, what a clown.
Yup looking forward to seeing some new faces (will have a spare helmet and may take someone round if they would like).

What set up is the track day? Open pit lane? Sessions?

Didn't you go round Mallory last year Adam?

Format is, in the morning, split into 3 groups & take it in turns to do 15-20 min. sessions. In the afternoon it's open pit lane.

if you mean the tr meet at mallory then i dont remember adam being there! btw mart was hat you that i met while i was there? (was in the yellow spit6PI)

unfortunately i probably wont make any trackdays this year as much as i wanted my project done in time for the new season, no chance! and dont wanna break the sprint as its my daily and the spit will be using all my money!!

Jon, if i bring my own helmet and promise not to chat up Miss scary, can i have a go in the drivers seat!!

No, not the TR meet, the Retro rides event thingy.

I wasn't at Mallory last year, I was supposed to be going but the night before my clutch started playing up & I couldn't get the thing into gear properly. Tried swapping the clutch master & slave but after working all night 'till gone eleven, I had to admit defeat. I was there the two years prior to that though.

Went to Combe but never went on track....

Whats the deal with passengers and spectators?

Passengers are only allowed in the front. Spectators are allowed but only by the pit entrance, so you don't see much.

Oh yer I done that Sprint at Mallory Park last year! Wasn't the whole track though, and was only one car on at a time.
