Hampshire drinks night

Ok folks we are now in may and no area meet as been arranged this year (the last one was the late christmas meet) so if anyone would like to meet for a drink a few of us will be at

Located between Hedge end (m27 J7/8) and bishops Waltham, a large quiet country pub that does nice food, hope to see some of you there.

Its a nice pub. does a wicked garlic bread..I'll be there, babysitter permitting I may even stay a while...weird cider on draft but there is a nice bottled one! bring your wives then mine will have someone to talk to!

Yep, cheers for the correction Nick, that is the same pub and it has change a lot since 2003.

We normally get to the pub 7.30/8 ish, just look for the tall good looking guy with long ginger hair.
Im guessing that you look like a 42 year old badger so will be easy to spot?

Been looking forward to another evening meet. Unfortunately we can't make this one.
We shall be in France with the Merlin Owners club!

just an update for those taking young'uns, the pub does not have a childrens enclosure/area, there is a large lawn but it is not fenced off from the road which is on a fast(ish) bend.
(The use of old tow ropes to restrain the under 18s is legal in hampshire.)

Sorry, but can't make it tomorrow as I am totally skint and unable to justify spending 30 quid to the missus!

I though i would be a bit of a trek for you just for a drink anyhow.
there will be no such excusses for SDD.
