we have a dodgy horn steering rack and brakes, does any one have any advice on how to cure it?

Horn - Check the connections to the horn motor, then check the horn motor.
What's wrong with the brakes and steering?

The steering is a bit loose and the brakes are just a bit dodgy as we got it for a b'day present it had no mot or tax it realy was a bargin £200 from ebay, we use it in our fields and our dad is a racing driver and likes to drive it realy hard round them, the fields are a bit bumby so rattels around abit! Also the exhaust is real dodgy and it puts the fuems into the cab so we have to drive round in the freezing cold with the windows down and no heating because it will bring more fuems into the cab

Check the steering rack mounts. These are rubber and can disintegrate causing the rack to move about.
Bleeding the brakes will probably do the world of good. it's possible that the fumes from the engine bay are something like the crankcase breather being blocked, which will spurt oil about the place, which makes a nasty smell when it burns. Like you say just wind the windows down and wear a coat.

i can do that with the brakes but the other day i picked up a peice of like rubber stuff in a circle i think that may be the steerings problem!!!!

Sounds like it could be the culprit. There are lots of bits of circular rubber attached to the steering, but the rack mounts are the most likely ones, as I'd doubt the other things would be too noticable when driving in a field.

steering feels loose - do you mean it feels like the front end is floating about when the car is moving, or the steering column feels loose and rattly? if the latter then could be steering column bush (in bulkhead).
most likely to be steering rack mounts i'd say, gungy job, enjoy!
brakes - if you've never done it and uncertain of the history of the vehicle i'd be inclined to drain all the fluid, take the calipers off, pull the pistons out, clean the cylinders out (you'll be amazed at the wierd gunge in them) and rebuild with new seals and fluid...
but thats just me!
