Sprint Rear Brake Hose

I've had a 'slightly binding brake' on XAA for a while. I rebuilt the calipers a while ago. Last MOT I was advised about a slightly sticky OSR back brake. Took it apart today and the piston in the wheel cylinder wasn't returning, both sides. It would go with pressure from some mole grips.

Turned out that the rear brake hose was virtually blocked.

I've always wondered why the Sprint rear hose has a diff part number to the other models, tis after all, only a hyraulic hose. well now I know, the connection to the load sensing valve is different. Now we don't stock Sprint rear hose in TDC Spares (although we will soon, I'll have some made up for us) so It had to be a std hose 'modified'. The thread section just has to be cut down to the correct length. At first I thought that the face 'sealed' against the inside of the LSV, but it doesn't, the seal is made by a copper washer between hose body and LSV valve body.

so one std 1850 Rear brake hose and some 'moddin and fettling' has XAA all sorted in the rear brake department
