Project PFJ (French Blue Sprint)

#1 Post by Mad Mart »

I made a decision this morning to make an offer on the French Blue Sprint in Devon. After a very quick haggle, the price was agreed and the Sprint is mine (ours). The owner/previous owner has said the Sprint can stay where it is until the end of November, as I need to sell BFR to make space for it. The only provisos were that, when finished, I have to drive the Sprint back down to Devon to show him & let him drive it around the block.

This Sprint hasn't seen the light of day in over 18 years (garaged in Jan. 1990) so it will be great to get another on the road again. I'm looking forward to the challenge & hope I can make this one as good as BFR, if not better.

That actually looks pretty sound - so I assume this one will be completed in an even more impressive time?
At this rate we can look forward to every remaining Sprint being an absolute minter!

Another one saved, It will be great to see it back on the road after nearly 20 years sitting unused in a garage.

Unless we can get hold of a decent Webasto for not too many pennies, it's going to be either, fill in the hole or get a new roof panel from Rimmers (that's if they actually have any  )

PS. please don't call me Jannette in public, I keep that for Saturday nights!!!!
