Ah yea I saw that too....lovely bit of kit.
D'ya remember that Ford van that ran the highly tuned Sprint engine, did like 12 second quarters? Was fettled so it could handle 200BHPs worth of N20 down the 1/4 mile. Really was a fantastic bit of kit, he sold it recently mind. I did have some pics of it but can't find them

mobile kebab van. lovely.
just needs welding up with a few patches, a full prep n repaint (vermillion obviously), some coachlines, interior refit with nice victron 1600W multi, 400AH of squadron gel batteries, BEP 600DCM battery monitor, waeco CR80 fridge, combined microwave/oven/grill, eberspacher D2 air heater, 32" flat screen TV, maxview flying saucer aerial, sky, PS3, BOSE sound system and a 2.5 audi diesel 4wd running gear with superchip and twin alternators, solar panel on roof for batt charger on roof for additional battery top up charging and you have the ultimate batchelor mobile home.
good 12k worth there.
get it done!
oh, sorry, too late. DOH!

I was thinking of putting in some sort of cheap 2 ltr turbo diesel with a good manual box. Then totally re-do the interior, kind of swinging 70's style, kick arse stereo with subs everywhere, disco lights and all sorts!
In one of the pics of the van theres a battery thats as big as my car!

You weren't there for the seventies either!
In fact, you only just made the eighties!!!

I was there for the 70s and the 80s but the latter part of the 80s is a bit blurry.

Didn't rate the 70's, stupid trousers and daft hair. 60's appeal, mostly for the mind altering drugs. 80's -great, miss it all dreadfully, apart from the make-up. Which I never did, ok!
I'd like a little Thames van and I'd also like to live in Lincolnshire because of the sausages

Make an offer on mine!
I cannot store it for you though. It's MoT'd and taxed, so you can tow it home...
