Guess who I have known for years and didn't know used to campaign Dolly Sprints for BL in the 1970s?
Rex Greenslade.
He said he was the last driver to win a race outright in a Dolly Sprint, I think he said, in 1981.
Rex works in the Detroit area now and he's doing PR and other stuff around the fringes of the auto industry. Does anyone remember him?
I have a picture of Rex in a Dolly Sprint book burning the tyres off a car is some race in the UK circa 1980 or so.
