Goodwood will be holding a family favourites and practical collecters cars Breakfast club on Sunday April 5th,
i think our cars should be covered by both of those. Having not been before but heard so much about it, it may be a good excuse to go. i will try to find out some more details.

I'm not on shift that weekend so all being well I'd be interested in attending this...

I have visted their website and sent them an email, it appears that this is free entry, parking in the pit lanes, there is a Breakfast menu (which is probably a bit pricey), nearer the time i will have to inform them of possible numbers including how many adults/kids etc. to give them an idea of how many to cater for.

cant find anywhere on the site that gives the price for the brekafast or a cuppa.
shame we cant make this one sounds like a good event.

Just thought i would give you a quick report on this event as it was a first for me and many people have expressed interest but have not been able to go.

This was a far bigger event then i was expecting with literally hundreds of cars, although the theme was family favourites, i got the impression that just means that those particular cars park on the starting grid of the track and that it is open to any classics at all, there were also some modern exotica too once the track is full the classics just parked in the paddocks or surrounding car parks. The breakfast which cost £9.50 for a full english is perhaps a tad expensive, but the better bet would probably be one of the many outlets that were selling bacon rolls which were huge for about a fiver.

The event was free to enter and was supposed to run from eight to twelve although was still going after twelve when i left, i arrived at 0825am and it was packed then. There are go-karts (£10) and tractor rides around the track (£2 pounds for adults free for kids). I really enjoyed it and would consider going again, so don't worry about the theme just go in your dolly.
By the way i was the only dolly saw a Triumph 2000 a herald 7 Stags (five of which were brown) and a nice early spitfire oh and i counted 32 ferraris.
