Electronic ignition

Hi..Again.. Can anyone tell me if aldon do a electronic igntion for the sprint? and do magnacor do leads and will aldon ignitor be a good idea?.. i do use my sprint everyday so need reliabilty( as much as poss) plus a little smooth power

The Aldon unit for that distributor (LU143) will not fit under the sprint cap,you will have to have the alternative cap and rotor off the club stock.Or,as i have just done,get the magnetronic unit,which is smaller and will fit under the original sprint cap and rotor. The unit you need is the MTK007,easy to fit too.
Earth goes to the coil,positive goes direct to the fuse box,you will have to extend the positive wire to reach.Really easy to fit,if i can do it im sure you can,cost around 70-80 quid,take about an hour tops..

Oh,and yes,Magnacor do the leads too..come up on ebay from time to time..

ah... its all coming back .. how weird.. but i was in a very crazy situation at that time.. still i will now look for the parts.. how do you find it? is it good.. they made such a difference in my vitesse it was like a whol;e new car. well sort of..
