Thanks for feedback. This is where the reservoir was located orginal :P
The reservoir / bracet is not painted, but what have i done to the finish of it? :wink:

Oh, on my RHD Sprint, it's mounted on one of the suspension turrets, using one of the three nuts, not on the bulkhead where yours is.

I wouldn't expect zinc plate to stay polished for very long as zinc oxidizes very easily. This is why zinc is used as a sacrifical anode. When was the last time you saw any shiny galvanized steel (which is zinc plated)?

uuhh, never tought about that :| ...
A friend of mine Do this zinc electro plating all the time, and the finish look shiny after years :roll:
I tought most bolt and nuts are electroplated using zink!?!?
I dont know, let the time tell.....nice looking now :D

Ah that's because he uses the Norwegian alloy called zink....

We are stuck with zinc or even zync in the uk...
