If I remember correctly (this was 10+ years ago) the washer actuates a small switch which pokes through the bulkhead, the reason Mike's motor works on the bench and not in the car is bacause when on the bench the switch is actuated by gravity, when on the car it hangs down ...

My problem was that I'd fitted a new radio antenna to the front wing and when threading the coax through it had got caught in the wiper arm mechanism, I simply undone the nut on the end of the motor ...

Haven't seen a copy of Triumph World for ages, used to be able to get a copy from local newsagents now and again but now neither want to commit to a regular order or subscription.<br>

That '82 car got to be last to roll out the doors of Canley unless it was unregistered at a dealership or something.<br>

Thought it should have the Laurel Leaf style badge on the nose for one of that age though.
