Nasty things....

and a complete waste of time and money if you ask me...Just get a pipercross element for your existing airbox. I'm sure Robsport sell them or any other TR7 specialist..even Rimmers...cos the air box is the same filter wise. Only the intake plumbing is different on the 7.
I just use the std filter and keep the cool air inlet.
Or you can get a K+N that fits inside your air box, that way you get the bonus of cold air plus better flow. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

Rimmers sell the part as "K+N to suit Stag", it's in the latest price catalogue. Replacement needles are BBT profile.
I use Ramflos which are far cheaper than K & N Filters. I paid $Aus35 each Heaps easy to install and makes your engine damm loud.

I doubt very much that Pipercross do one for the Sprint airbox. I looked & couldn't find any other manufacturer than K&N. You could try Moss's, I know they can get them but not sure of the price. (I needed mine in a hurry because of the rolling road session I had booked in. Moss's got me the ones that fit directly to the SU's)<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

standard su's and the filter has to go in the standard airbox

Does anyone know the part number of the pipercross element they use ?

the px500 looks like it would fit?

the panel filter from moss is 67 pounds + postage

which is not that bad but if people have pipercross fitted then <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

I wouldn't buy filters from people (Pipercross) who can't spell 'Susuki and Volksewagen!!'<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">
