This was at Taupo in Feb. Our series races are handicapped so this is what happens when you start 50 seconds after the slowest car and have about 20 slower competitors to overtake in 8 laps! The 'sand' trap is in fact volcanic pumice which gets everywhere. This does demonstrate that with enough right foot you can drive out of a sand trap! Despite running 3 laps after at full race speed I dug at least 2 handfuls of dust from the inside of each wheel and the brakes needed stripped down and cleaning out. The final picture shows the Sprint in it's rightful place - first! <br>
