Was trying to get insurance for COD the past week or so. Competition Car Insurance wanted £500 which I thought was over the top for a car that will never be driven on the road. Tried Adrian Flux and they wouldn't do it as its not garaged at my home address.

Found these people after posting on ten tenths.

Filled in the online quote and 5 mins later I get my quote. £247.00 for 22k cover, and 1k cover for the trailer. £250 excess. I was more than happy with that so paid on line and now its covered.

Its quite a good system as you can manipulate the excess and any equipment cover you want, hit the button and it adjusts the quote instantly.

I would hazard a guess that for something with a value of 5k it would come in around the £100 mark.
