Safety Devices

#1 Post by mbellinger » Fri Sep 30, 2005 1:44 pm

I understand that this firm (who manufactured roll cages amongst other things) have gone belly up and that a number of private individuals have, as a result, lost not inconsiderable sums of money that they had paid out for cages that they will not now receive. A warning to this effect is printed in this months Practical Classics mag.
I thought someone had bought the business from the administrators?

Anyway, for Dollies I'd use fabricage. The guy there is ex safety devices anyway. I haven't heard good things about safety devices. Think they were more tuned into big bucks contracts with single make race series than people like us.

Well done for pointing it out though Martin. Its good that we keep an eye out for each other!
Guys,
I saw the yellow dolly being done at Canleys workshop on their site - was that a 'Fabricage' installation?

Sorry for ignorance - building first track dolly - so a newbie to this lot.
