rule changes 2008

#1 Post by george » Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:56 pm

has anyone any opinions on f1 rules 2008 style -
if scientific advances have come from space exploration & motorsport hows this going to happen when the fia
has these rules in place apart from stagnating engine performance which i think will reduce spectators and is going to make it just another series of races albeit a fast one but surley the ethos of it is to produce the finest
racing cars using all the tecnology available thus promote competive teams and advancing science which benefits us all

True. But if the big manufacturers do decide to drop out the idea of them having a series with much less restrictive regulations (full slicks, active suspension etc) is a tantalising idea. Except Sky will buy the rights so nobody can see it. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":(">
