7 Days. . . .

#1 Post by Stan Part » Sat Oct 08, 2005 4:38 pm

. . . . Dressing Dangerously.

Anyone see this Beeb 2 prog during the week (wednesday ?) where some dowdy mousey girl is chosen by her friends and has her wardrobe taken away and she is given odd clothes to where to "boost her confidence" in return?

Why do I ask because this weeks show had the girl dressed as Audrey Hepburn standing in the road waving at the passing trafic. Mostly ignored by most motorists but she got a BIG reaction from a passing Sprint !

Tahiti Blue Reg number was something like "PHO ???R" and looked in top nick. The BIG reaction came from the twin airhorns which blasted out a tune (rather like the General Lee) - though I thought that musical airhorns were now illegal <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes">

I think the show was shot in or around Corby Northants, so anyone know the car ?
Tune horn will not pass the MOT so don't wire them to your regular horn push. Otherwise you can carry what you like in your car, it's still a free country much to Bliars annoyance.
You can wire in tune hornes to the horn push but just run it via a switch so come MOT or police pull over just flip the and hey presto the regular horn sounds.
