right in your own eyes.
Its not my place to judge the dead so I won't...
I'll just point out that the same truth applies to everyone else too...

As to opinions...well as this thread is about Burns I'll add my praise to his modesty, sportsmanship and driving talent and complaints about the lack of media interest...
As to George, well this thread isnt about him. I understand why he got in but surely lads...

New threads required for those big topics...
Hi, this will be my last post on the subject. I think one thing is clear no one disputes the talent of Richard Burns, his achievements or his conduct.

On George - everyone has their own personal point of view based on on their experience of life. Like most things differences are to be valued and respected.

It was not my intention to be 'argumentative' merely to put across my opinion from what I had read and I hope that the discussion forum is open enough to take free and lively discussion without closing ranks or getting defensive as long as it doesn't get out of hand or unduly personal and I don't think it did.

It is clear now that Al is not a racist from his later posts, apologies for the mere hint of the suggestion but it was purely my interpretation of the post not unnecessary stirring. Sorry
