As the title suggests, correctly name the old dude sitting in the Le-Mans replica Spitfire of Mark Field and receive a Murray Mint by second class post. Runners up will receive empty wrappers (Murray mint wrappers are not guaranteed, a replacement wrapper will be provided if we are out of stock)

Best of luck!
The spy reference was supposed to get you to 007 and then Lotus.

He was telling myself and Mark about how he 'used to drive one of these.' At that point we didn't know who he was and just thought he was some old codger reminiscing about driving a normal spitty.

He then went on to say, "Yes, I had the class lap record around Goodwood in one of these in 1965. I remember it definitely had ADU registration plates. Triumph used to ask me to race it occasionally and give them some feedback on what could be done to improve it. It was great fun!"

So there you go, racing Spitfires were partly engineered by Mike Costin! He sent in a picture of him in the le-mans car taken at Goodwood in 1965 exiting madgwick. He was by all accounts a pretty handy driver as well as a blinding engineer.
I am afraid I'm not that bright to make the 007 clue!!!
Thats the best thing about meeting the old boy's, they are so unassuming and really quite blase about there experiences.
Get it all the time at work. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
