Bumper stickers

#1 Post by 2F45T4U » Tue Mar 21, 2006 4:36 pm

Yeh your right Jonners.

We need a bumper sticker....
"This may look an old heap but it goes just as fast as yours...the speed limit!"
"Dont bother! You will only be embarrassed!"
"You go in the back...you buy me a bumper. It will cost more than yours."
"Only idiots try and pass me. I have wandery steering."

I'll be back later when I thought of something <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":p">

I always liked "If you can read this, you're too close"...

Saw a van the other day where some one had written in the dust at the back "STOP HOGGING THE MIDDLE LANE!!!"
"Stop staring at mine and get your own!"

"It's even quicker with the NOS"

"I agree, it's hard to believe that it still looks this good after 30 years"

"If you are struggling to keep up, go to http://www.viagra.com"
"My other ride is your daughter"

I did stick that on a tshirt, never summed up enough courage to wear it at the hotrod shows I attend.
Here you go, found the list I made:

"IF you can see this, I'm about to brake heavily"

"Rear wheel steer"

'WARNING! DRIVER HAS BEEN LOBOTOMISED'

'I forgot to declare my modz... please rear end me'

"beauty with brains behind it" and

'I'm sorry officer you must be mistaken '

'The car in front...is in my way! '

'If you can read this you are faster than you look'

'SORRY OFFICER '

'Any closer and people will talk'

'Like the view? Get used to it'

'If you think this is fast, wait until I realise the choke's still on'

'Photographic Reproduction Prohibited by Copyright'

"May the force not see you " < <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

'Bye Bye GTi'

'Don't follow me I'm lost '

'It's not lowered, it's broken'

"i have a customised licence plate, im just dyslexic"

"nice cortina" < on something that isn't.

Crazy! I mean like so many positive waves, we can't lose! You're on!

"You go in the back...you buy me a bumper. It will cost more than yours." - I doubt that very much.

I think the one in Steve Lester's 1850 has to be one of the best. Something like "This car is in a long term relationship, unlike the one you're in". I think it's supposed to refer to the car the reader is in, but it always sounds like he's taking some sort of dig at the reader's personal situation. Much offense possible.
Great stuff....and thanks Dave for answering the call, stepping up to the plate etc...

While I rampantly disagree with the sentiments I quite like the irony in...

"Don't pray in my school and I won't think in your church"

From the THOTB&TLOTF of course...(where else)

I like the relationship one too. Excellent...

Keep em coming...

How about...

"Free to speed partnership. I havent registered this car."

Jonners

I thought we were making our own up?

I once saw scribbled on the back of a dirty van,

"Valeted by Stevie Wonder"
