Ken, belated birthday wishes to your cat. Is your wallpaper textured/raised by any chance? That is a cats' favourite kind! You could try a product called Feliway; you can get a plug-in diffuser which releases feline pheremones and can help with things like 'marking' wallpaper and furniture etc.<br>

Mine like scratching the hall stairs carpet so I bought a product that you stick on to stop them scratching it - they bloody ate it!<br>
