The trouble is, a Supra, fairlady, corvette don't look or sound like a TVR. Most cars with the headline power figure are turbo's etc which isn't really comparing the same thing.
Totally agree that it is poorly engineered if the labour cost is so much. It will make you laugh if I tell you that its roughly the same labour to change the slave cylinder seals!
I very nearly went the XJR route. I'm glad I didn't though. If we ever meet and I have the Cerbera with me, you can have a go and see what you think. Everything feels so slow afterwards though.
I'm a big fan and I think the cerbie is bonkers...
Its just a damn shame that the ship is spoiled for a ha'porth of tar in so many TVR's. If a bit more time and effort was spent on build quality..production engineering and thinking about the poor owners and mechanics who have to pick up the pieces they wouldnt be down to 2 cars a week...

I dont understand why the lesson isnt learnt in the british car industry. We've had so many well designed attractive cars but with shite build quality that puts buyers off in droves and leaves the likes of us to pick up the pieces later.
Why does it take a bunch of non brits to do it properly?
