Having had probably 100 or so clients in the last 5 years that were all victim of a wandering partner I would say that the single biggest reason why the partner comes to a PI company is that they have either found questionable text messages on their partners phone or the straying partner is overly protective of their phone.

On every occasion that the partner suspected something, it was eventually confirmed.

In the vast majority of occasions, the 'victim' was made to feel that they were untrusting and paranoid, to the point that the strayee would insist on them seeking psychiatric help!

Most people were relieved when it was confirmed that their suspicions were correct as to a certain degree the pressure was causing them mental problems.

The strayees would plead innocent right up to the point of them being shown the evidence, at that point they would panic and start begging forgiveness.

Funny old world.
It's all in your head.....................
or at least that's what my ex-husband told me Scott - I was imagining things.

He actually said far worse things than that which verged on mental cruelty. The legacy of which leaves an issue with trusting people.

What I don't understand is why some men/women still can't tell the truth even after they have been found out and will stand there and tell bare-faced lies!

C'est la vie I guess.

Silvery - if you don't mind 'sloppy seconds' there is always John Prescott's ex-PA. I believe she's a bit of a celebrity now and has come into a 100K or so!

Mind you, knowing 'New Labour', she'll still have a job! Afterall, resigning is against their policies.
