I used to do Ai Kaido for a few months and weight training. The Ai Kaido I didn't really grasp all to well but the weights gave me more confidence. I then got a job so had to give up the Ai Kaido and the weight training gets in the way of my college, Dolomiting and work. (and drinking!)

I wouldn't go out looking for a fight. The whole point of getting lots of people there is to show them, We could if we wanted, easily

The boy who got punched later went back with a few mates in 3 different cars. One of the chavs in the group was alone, one of the only 2 who has a car, saw the boys drive past and ducked to hide! I think thats probably enough for him.

"They came back! There were 6 of them!"

Not "Yer remeber them boys we hit, they never came back again did they"

These chavs aint fighters, I should know. I had a run in with two of them. I didn't have a black eye nor did I have a bad head
Re: calling 101
Now, let me preface this with the fact that I'm talking hypothetically here and in no way would I condone or encourage such behaviour.

Lets just say you spot king chav in this car park one evening with the rest of his gang bangers. Get a very good look at his clothing (note which items of burberry he is wearing), and also which car he he has or seems to own. Wouldn't it be funny if you thought you saw him passing pill like objects from a clear bag to others in the car park area and money seemed to change hands. Instead of putting the bag in his pocket, he puts it down the back of his trousers and seems to be concealing it in the anus area.

The Police tend to get calls to the local control room (not on 999) with this type of information and will generally act upon it with fervour. Unfortunately, they can't perform a satisfactory search in the street so will have to detain the individual and take him down the station where they will ask the person to strip naked and bend over. They will ask for your name on the phone, of course, you may be unwilling to give this, you are just doing your civic duty etc and are scared of reprisals.

Who needs the court system to even things out!?
Self Defence
Adam

Here is a website with some techniques for self defence - it also has video clips of real fights that have taken place; demonstrating that 'fighting' that is staged/takes place in a class can be very different to what can happen in reality.

<a href="http://www.karate-shotokan-kata.com/Kar ...

The expert on the site recommends above all just staying away from aggressive people - I have to agree!

As for this new '101' number, just playing devil's advocate here but I think there are a lot of people who want to report anti-social problems but haven't because they don't consider it an emergency (as in life or death). The introduction of a number that people can phone to report such things might just encourage a flood of calls.

No, not enough people to handle this. I wish Blair would put more money into policing. I still see loads of people driving around with a mobile phone in their hand - police are unable to be everywhere at once so I can't see how they could have the manpower to deal with the anti-social behaviour. Perhaps it was a knee-jerk decision?

I have called the police (on a non-emergency number) a couple of times over kids on these mini-motorbike things. Nothing was done, police didn't go out (and offenders would have scarpered before they did). Hardly the crime of the century you may say but what happened to Sundays being a nice peaceful day? <sigh>
