Has anyone got or used a Snooper S5-R. Are they any good ? I have one sitting on my desk (no instructions) which I may buy off my neighbour. Anyone got the instructions?

I've got one, it's rubbish. Never, ever picks up laser but is otherwise absolutely perfect at detecting petrol stations, supermarkets, pelican crossing and suchlike.
Also, as far as I know they will become illegal again imminently with only GPS detectors being legal.

I Got one, ain't much to them instruction wise, plug and play. It is a useful 'aid', picks up Gatso's OK, don't know if it does Truvello's or if the Truvelo's i've been through are switched orf.

Quite surprised me how many Gatso's are not armed.
Find SR5 is useful in the roadworks, yunno, when your'e supposed to be at 50 but you gradually 'creep' and also as a reminder of the variable speed on the M42.

I would say, a useful aid, don't rely on it though, and don't have your ICE on full whack cos you'll not hear the SR5
