Does Anybody Else Find That .........

#1 Post by Dolly Bird » Tue May 30, 2006 10:24 am

When you keep all those old car mags for their "handy hints and tips", you can never find the "handy hint and tip" that you require.

You can never find the right tool/screw/nail/clip that you want out of the hundreds that you've got.

There is always something better that comes along, for less money, shortly after you've brought it.

There is always too much month/week left at the end of your money.

That carton of milk that had the "oh so tight" top on it when you left the shop, always mysteriously works loose when it is sitting in the boot of your car, the little foil top manages to raise itself up a little, and lo and behold ...... well you probably all know the rest

It's lovely and sunny while you are at work, and it rains when you are at home.

And finally ........ Does anybody ever manage to go out in their Triumph without finding that there is something else that needs fixing ...... because I sure as hell don't seem to be able to

Women of course always have the last word in an argument; anything the man utters after that is apparently the start of the next one!

...... And men should know better than to try and start an argument ......... cause they never usually win

Anyway, I didn't start this thread to slag off the faults and merits of men (and women)

And it's always ALL together

can't argue with any of it ( have a girlfriend so would be told I was wrong either way! )

BUT

You ever find that - those of us sadists willing to keep multiple elderly members of the auto ( Triumph for example ) fraternity from the crusher have all of them pack up at the same time.... sometimes aided and abetted by a third party for sure - but still changing your 'driveway of classics' into a 'un-licensed scrap dealership' in one disastrous week or so........<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

I will refrain from saying I beat the wife once a week to keep her inline as she has access to a computer whilst she is away.
OOps I said that out loud didn't I.......
Can I have your dog?

Surely your Mrs won't put Sukey under the patio with you?
PS What is your e-mail address? Found a really cool picture of a dog just like Sukey who was a Spitfire mascot during WWII!
