Just back from Manby airfield (near Louth) for a day of rallying action.
Apart from the usual Scoobies/Evo 6000's (or whatever they are these days!) there was a fine smattering of classic cars taking to the dust and tarmac stages.
Triumph was represented by a TR7 V8 in works colours and was an absolute joy to watch it blow an Escort into the weeds.
As I was leaving a young chap introduced himself to me and I must confess I forget his name although he did have a large scarr on his chin.
His father campaigns a Dolomite Sprint in the British something or other rally type thing.
Anyone any ideas as to who rally's a Dolly?
My hero!
Best thing about the whole day..........
