Having to poke the remains of yet another crack suicide pigeon from the grille on my truck. What the hell is wrong with these stupid birds? They come soaring over the hedgerows and straight into you without seeming to notice you're there at all.

And don't get me started on pheasants, waiting at the roadside until the very last minute before launching themselves into your windscreen, smashing it to bits and causing accidents. Twats.
Natural selection at work. Another 100 or so generations of this and they'll be using the green cross code

fwd failed on exhaust too loud, it was a homemade system but only a bit louder then standard and a lot quiter than the corsa boyz.
front wheel bearing play, i pointed out that it was meant to be like that and jogged his memeory about the 1500 fwd which failed on the same he relented that time and passed it. so hopefully its back in soon with a fiat 252 box fitted. (from the obsolete stock at my friendly zorst supplier)
yes i know the fwd system is availble but i need it yesterday<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">
Polishing....

#21 Post by redrichie » Fri Aug 25, 2006 4:59 pm

Polishing the car, and realising I am going to have to cut all the paint. What did you use at TDCIR last year Jod? That seemed to come up a treat...and yes, I do realise Elbow Grease was involved as well....

Just yer regular Carplan T-Cut mate, and plenty of elbow grease, followed by Simoniz GT wax paste, polished with the rough-side of old sweatshirts. Not that you'd know the difference now, KDU looks exactly the same as she did this time last year, oxidisation a-plenty.

I'd go for some Auto-Glym super resin polish and high-gloss topcoat for a longer-lasting shine.

Plus elbow greasy of course!
I get mine from a local supplier, I'll see if she has more in stock yet.

In the meantime, some of the nice claggy stuff that accumulates under the Dolly steering rack will suffice, if you pick all the grit out of it.
...I see B Liar came back today with his stupid grinning family...all except the eldest delinquent one, kept in hospital in barbados with an upset tummy...must have been out on the pop again last night.

You're right Jon, but children generally follow the examples set to them by their parents...good or bad...
