Fleet reduction.

#1 Post by algtj » Sat Sep 23, 2006 9:38 am

Well the time is looming for the impending house move.......

The Ascona found a new home and leaves shortly, the manta stays....... For the moment!

Still in two minds what to do with the 1500 Sprintalike as I do love the car and have put some work into it since taking ownership. But on the other hand I've been offered a really nice Sprint for a not inconsiderable sum of money.......

The pimped 1300 FWD we both love but must go to pastures new as a modern diesel is needed and I really can't justify useing it as an everyday car, PM me if your interested or she will be eBay bound.

The dilema is heart rending as I really do get too attatched to metal!

So, modern diesel, dolly 1500 or sprint and the manta.

3 cars is still too many for one family as Sophie points out all too often!!!

Ken, is the address on the box of carpet a valid postal address for you? Sorry for the delay a mind melting week at work!

Had a cracking day in the 1300 today tooling around the country lanes of Lincolnshire, saw a very tidy MK1 2000 and spoke to another MK1 2000 owner near Scampton. Nice old chap!
