Tough Call

A choice between spritely (even in 1300 form with lead wellies) nimble, easy to fix medium small car with dirt cheap insurance and hoardes of people that'll look wistfully and tell you about the one they used to have, or big, wollowy, no doubt plagued by modern black box issues, ugly Ford.

Both have their merits, but for 50 miles a week, I'd go for classic and nimble myself <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

OHV Dolomites

Garry, I've only got the 1500 that's useable and it's going free to a good home. The other engines that I've got are the engine that was originally in the Toledo (probably too far gone to be rebuilt) and a 1200 Herald engine (needs a rebuild). The decent 1300 engine has gone into my Toledo to bring it back to original spec with the intention of getting it back on the road (eventually!)

Is the Ford Scorpio a viable option? I'm not knocking Fords as I have a 1998 Mondeo as my everyday car and I've also had 4 MK3 Granadas as everyday transport.

Anyway, glad you chose the Dolly. Rob is the resident Toledo guru and he's been helpful to me with my starter motor problems.
