Anybody from down south?

#1 Post by hillman666 » Sat Jul 19, 2003 1:16 am

Just wondered is any one on here from or near to poole or bournemouth. Would be good to to meet and greet a few fellow owners. Ive only seen about 3 more Dollys local to me. There must more somewhere out there surely. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :D --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END-->

They've all been a bit quiet recently!

I've been quiet cause of intermittent net access, pet disasters, and the fact that my daily drive (the TC auto) has now decided to eat the big end shells right when I need to be able to get to the breakers to get the parts for the manual TC... About Triumph 1500 engines being not that bad...? <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :( --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /frown.gif ALT=":("><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br>
<br>
If anyone ever sees a grotty white TC (with a red bonnet atm) looking lost around Bournemouth, that'll be me - Never can find my way around there at all.<br>
<br>
There was a green Sprint in Dorch till a few months ago, looked in reasonable nick, no idea what happened to it, and saw a yellow Dolly the other day. Plus there's an immaculate carmine TC auto kicking around, wish my carmine car looked that good, and the auto went that well!

By the way...<br>
Does anyone know what happened to racer, boyhood breaker, southerner ( from Dibden in the new forest)and all round knowledge on all things sprint - Ed Bishop, ? what he didn't know...<br>
<br>
Also, there used to be a very smart early 1850, parked underneath the spur road island at Chase....hmmm...

Mine or yours? My wallet is empty......as usual!<br>
<br>
Do I owe money? Please advise offline if so and I'll sort it directly.

ALUN<br>
<br>
I sent you a HUGE cheque, all of £2.50, for the cambox bolts back in March!!!!, seems you have either lost it or its tucked away in the darkest recesses of your wallet.<br>
<br>
Give me a shout if you require a replacement.<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>

Oh, thats alright then thought it was me owing for a moment.<!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :rolleyes --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/eyes.gif ALT=":rolleyes"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br>
<br>
Thought I'd cashed them as they arrived; perhaps the moths got that one! The only cheques I had hanging fire for a while were the ones for windscreens for Cancer research which have now been sent off: £35 on behalf of the Club. Wouldn't worry about it in that case Len, I ended up 'donating' some to America too!, catch up with me at the next show and buy me a beer! If it turns up meanwhile I'll let you know.
