Sprint Dizzy

#1 Post by MaddMart » Thu Jul 14, 2005 4:35 pm

As a matter of interest, has anyone seen an OE Delco ignition fitted to a Sprint? All the Sprints I've ever seen have been fitted with the Lucas 44D4 dizzy.
...Ted M has the story on this, his carmine car was originally owned I believe by a Lucas executive.
Lucas were given the order very late after Delco had made lots of dizzys, hence why many parts reference books list both. as far as I know no Sprints were fitted with a Delco unit
