20+ BHP increase

#1 Post by MaddMart » Tue Jan 24, 2006 6:34 pm

I'm contemplating getting one of these for my track Sprint. I've seen other stuff on ebay which purports to giving increased power for very little dosh but they were all useless.
this jackass equivalent of a "chav" where i work fitted one of these to his lime green hyundai tiburon. he got it off ebay usa claiming it was some sort of power upgrade. he already had the cold air intake kit (held on with silver duct tape) and the obligatory thumping "ICE" (large cable to power it ran out of the bonet and in through the door). unfortunately he has left for another job now so my amusement levels are way down at work. twat!
cheers
might as well get a sparkrite ignition booster, i had one on my mg metro. a bit tempramental (sorry, its sunday morning and my spelling head isnt awake yet) but noticeable performance increase. it must put a strain on something somewhere though. I didnt keep it on long enough to see what burnt out 1st!
