Asked if it was the original colour or a re-spray job. Seller has replied that it is the original. <br>

I can see why the picture mentioned was of a lady driving it - it is a very 'girlie' colour. <br>

The problem with the magenta 'Sprint' in the scrap yard is there is no ID plate in the engine bay (it is an early car, evident in that there is no chassis number stamped on the boot aperture ((thanks Alun)) and it has the large number plate lights on the bumper) and the registration number plates have been removed.<br>
It is however genuinely magenta in colour as shown by the boot and behind where the rear seats would be.<br>
On inspection the cills have been done as have the rear arches. <br>
Damage to the roof gutters from collection may 'write the car off' as a viable project as are the missing interior and sundrie other items.<br>
They are not willing to part with the car complete as previously stated, but pressure from the club may help....?<br>

I thought scrappies had to book cars in when they arrive? Do they have any records from when it came in? Might be a previous owner to contact who could indicate what the VRM was. Unless of course it has dubious origins.<br>

I just remembered that in 1991 i had a lime green cavalier which i stripped then sprayed purple, a very similar purple to my 1300 (very dark)<br>
Purple dollys(with matching handbag and shoes)<br>
Lime green cavs<br>

Justyn, at a size 3, you'd have to do an awful lot of chopping off of your size 11s to fit in my shoes! You'd end up with little stumps and would probably topple over!
