. . . . and someone said that it is worth £2,000 - I'd suggest that he contacts them to see if they'd like to put their money where their mouth is !

I always thought though that a Toledo two door would make a good basis for a pick up, does anyone know if this has been done ?

I was intending to move the rear quarterlights forward within part of the door frame so it was more 'el camino' looking. Only problem we had was we'd need to weld the frames in ready glazed...and then if they ever broke...

We'd even called it the Dolom'ute' project.

I wasn't going to wreck a decent car to do it though, JJO was lined up for it...one day.

Oh well, i think I'll just sell all my dolomite stuff now and lose interest...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

Justyn (dolly1300) is doing the same with one of his 1300s. He showed me a picture of it a while back. Much better looking than the one on ebay

I was in deed but i came across a problem with mr tin worm, i made the mistake of not taking the engine out till id cut the back of, the motor lifted out, body twisted under the strain, the damage was so bad that ive decided to abandon this one but may try again with the purple one.
It was much better then the sprint one in my modest oppion.
I will bring the pics to stoneleigh.
Justyn
I may buy this one just to scrap it, who wants the running gear?<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/roll.gif ALT=":rollin">
