Ebay stupidity
Just logged on to the bay and saw a small compressor powered by a plug in to the fag lighter. useful little thing to have around. I bought one a few weeks back at Ally Pally for a fiver. The one on ebay starts at 9.99 and has a p&p of 5.99. It has one bid. Wish I'd bought more!! Crazy.
Re: Ebay stupidity
same thing happened with a crome screen surrond last month, went on E for some silly amount when you can buy it from trim suppliers for £6. last year a 'airfix' type dolomite went for £50+ and they are on the net for £15.
If you dont know its cheaper elsewhere.....!!!
Chrome trim
I bought 4 metres of the chrome (plastic) windsceen infill strip at the weekend for £1.50 a metre from Rarebits for classics if that helps. Apparently 4 metres should be enough for the front screen. I think he does mail order, Andy

Re: Ebay Craziness...
I bought a mains-powered compressor from ScrewFix (for spraying my dolly) - £139.99 with free next day delivery.

Being the sensible chap I am, before buying it I had a quick squizz on the bay beforehand, only to find the exact same compressor, complete with picture nabbed from the screwfix website, at £150, no reserve, with a "buy it now" of £199. He had 20 available. Postage was £20. Now there's an easy way to make money!

I'll bet he didn't even have any in stock, and just ordered one from ScrewFix as and when some mug got carried away on ebay!
