Re: STM 751J on eBay - Tax exempt, full test, Sprint engined
What have you found that's wrong with it then?

Re: STM 751J on eBay - Tax exempt, full test, Sprint engined
Nothing that isn't mentioned in the auction - it's just when I set out to buy another car I wanted to find one I could uprate and enjoy and instead, on this, I've spent all my time just getting it back on the road and just really have lost heart in it, even though it is a lovely little machine.

It's put me through an awful lot of hassle too, right from day one which even though is smoothing out now, taints it slightly every time I drive it. Once I realised that it wasn't what I wanted it to be I just set about returning it to the road and that is what I've now done

I just don't have the urge to fettle or tinker with it, which is what it needs really and as such me keeping it is a dangerous proposition as I'm inclined to just run it into the ground, which I wouldn't want to see.

Next port of call is probably a pre-tuned Sprint of some kind, already taxed and tested, or another nice standard one

Probably all rambles, but like I said - I've just run my course with this one Time for someone else to take over and enjoy the rewards

Re: Couldn't agree more...
You have a big advantage with that car over a 'genuine' Sprint in being tax exempt which you wont find in any replacement.

Also I doubt you'll sell it for the same value as an equivalent condition Sprint so you might find yourself starting from scratch again with whatever you replace it with!

Better the devil you know if you ask me (not that I can talk, same Dolly for 12 years, been on the road for about 4!).
