I sent a email saying it wasn't leather and not tax exempt, here is the reply<br>

I think he has nicked the seats from something else. I viewed a 2500TC once that had leather seats. These look very similiar.<br>

Tax free. Most people still think its the 25 year rule. I suppose its tax free if it stays off the road!<br>

Up until 1978, the 1300 had vinyl seats as standard. I think the vendor is confusing the vinyl with leather. Leather simply was't an optional extra on the 1300 (or any of the Dolomite range), so the claim that the car has its "original leather seats" is bogus.<br>
Because the car is over 25 years old, again I would guess that the vendor believes the car to be tax exempt, even though it isn't. The rolling 25 year tax exemption rule was stopped, hence only cars built (not registered) before 1st January 1973 are tax exempt.

These are 1300 vynil seats no question...<br>
He now says they are leatrher look (vynil)<br>
No mention of tax free either...<br>
Looks a right heap...<br>
I got a far better one free recently.<br>
