Rear Wheel Bearings

I have to replace the oil seals on the rear axle of my track Sprint, well I'm there I may aswell replace the bearings. I thought I would experiment on a spare half shaft I have. Everything was going fine until I tried to get the inner bearing off the half shaft. I tried heating it but it still wouldn't budge. I guess I'll have to grind it off unless someone knows differently???<br>
